This letter is truly the most important piece in the New Testament. It is purest Gospel. It is well worth a Christian’s while not only to memorize it word for word but also to occupy himself with it daily, as though it were the daily bread of the soul. It is impossible to read or to meditate on this letter too much or too well. The more one deals with it, the more precious it becomes and the better it tastes.”Martin Luther
This fall, Pastor Andrew will offer a Bible Study on the first half of the book of Romans. We will explore this powerful and challenging book as we see the many ways it shapes and forms our very understanding of what it means to be a follower of Jesus. We will look at questions like: What is sin? Why did Jesus have to die? What does it mean to be saved? What is justification and sanctification?
The class is being offered in-person or on Zoom. All sessions will be on Monday nights at 7 PM. Whether you are a Bible scholar or never read the book of Romans in your life, you are invited to join us as we explore Paul’s words to the Romans together.
Sessions will be on Zoom or in Room 3 (in the basement of our educational wing). Contact us for the Zoom information or with any questions you may have. All are welcome!
