December 27, 2021 by Andrew Burd-Harris Leave a Comment

On Sunday, December 19, we celebrated our fifty year plus members. Last year we were not able to get a photo or recognizing them in worship due to the pandemic. We were thankful to get a picture and pray with them in worship.

Blue Christmas 2021

December 11, 2021 by Andrew Burd-Harris Leave a Comment

December 21, 2021 at 7 PM

During the hustle and bustle of Advent preparation, does the song lyric, “It’s the most wonderful time of the year” ever ring a bit hollow?  Maybe we are looking ahead to a “Blue Christmas,” absent of loved ones.   Perhaps the pandemic has just taken too much of a toll and we are exhausted. Or maybe every year we just struggle with the darkness of short December days.

To acknowledge this less jolly side of the holiday season, Deacon Megan is offering a meditative service of prayer and modern carols. We will remember the struggles that lie at the heart of the Christmas story.   We will remember into the darkness of daily life, the light of Christ entered the world.

*This service will not be live-streamed or recorded.
