Pastor Andrew’s fall Bible Study is focused on the minor prophets. The minor prophets are twelve prophetic books in the Bible. The designation “minor” is for the length of the books not their significance. The Bible Study will be via Zoom on Monday nights at 7 PM. Everyone is welcome to join. Contact us for a link. The Bishop of the Susquehanna Conference, Bishop Park, sent out a letter last week encouraging churches in our conference to take seriously the delta variant of COVID-19. Our reopening taskforce discussed via email our current practices. For now, we are requesting that everyone who uses our facility wear a mask regardless of vaccination status. When preaching or leading worship, the mask may be removed so others can hear clearly the leader.
During our sermon series “Calling Out Your Name,” Pastor Andrew and Deacon Megan have been offering prayer resources. Below is a hand prayer Deacon Megan used for our children’s lesson on August 15 and the written prayer resource handout Pastor Andrew used on August 8.
Our reopening taskforce met last week. We have made several changes to our Coronavirus Guidelines. Church leaders are watching developments with the delta variant. The taskforce will meet again if we few additional changes are needed. The following changes were approved last week:
