The Third Day (Sunday School)

February 10, 2024 by Andrew Burd-Harris 1 Comment

In The Third Day: Living the Resurrection, Tom Berlin uses his gifts of storytelling and understanding the Scriptures to connect the reader to the experiences of several individuals around Jesus in his final days, focusing on new life and redemption rather than loss.

Join Peter, Mary Magdalene, and Thomas as they feel the despair of losing Jesus and the surprise and joy that awaits them in the resurrection. This study traces events around these characters, along with Paul and the disciples at Emmaus, and how the resurrection transforms their lives.[1]

Participants should pick up a copy of Tom Berlin’s Third Day: living the Resurrection. If you would like the church to order a copy of the book for you, please contact the church office. The cost of the book is $12. If the cost of the book will be a problem, please talk to Pastor Andrew. If you would like to order through the church, please let us know by Sunday, February 4th.

Revised Schedule

  • February 25-Introduction and Chapter 1: Mary Magdalene
  • March 3-Chapter 2: Simon Peter
  • March 10-Chapter 3: Thomas
  • March 17-Chapter 4: Emmaus
  • March 24-Chapter 5: Paul
  • March 31-Chapter 6: Jesus
