Holy Week and Easter 2026
This year we will be worshipping with our friends at Centenary UMC, Chambers Hill UMC, Geyers UMC, and Neidig UMC. Each of our special services will be hosted by a different church.
Palm/Passion Sunday
On Sunday, March 29, at our 10:15 AM service, we will observe Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem and also remember his Passion.
Maundy Thursday
Maundy Thursday will be at Centenary UMC on April 2 at 6:30 PM. We will celebrate Holy Communion and reflect on the Last Supper. All are welcome to join us for our first cluster Holy Week service.
Good Friday
Evangelical will host a cluster Good Friday service in our sanctuary on Friday, April 3 at 6:30 PM. The service will feature a multimedia experiance of Jesus' Passion. All are welcome to join us as we reflect on Jesus' sacerfice for us.
Easter Sunrise Service
Our Easter Sunrise service will be on Sunday, April 5 at 6:30 AM.We will gather at the Hillsdale Cemetery near Geyers UMC (1605 S Geyers Church RD). We will celebrate Jessu' resurrection. After the worship service we will head over to the Geyers church facility to have breakfast and fellowship.
Easter Service at Evangelical
We will continue to celebrate Jesus' resurrection at 10:15 AM on April 5. We will sing our favorite Easter hymns and observe Holy Communion. All are welcome to join us!
