Bible Study 2010 -2011

Our Bible study offering is entitled CREDO. The study will be offered on Monday evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and will be divided into three 6 week sections. Other days and times will be considered. The study is designed to review and understand our core beliefs. For some it will be a review; for others it will be an enhancement; for others it will serve as great beginning. It will offer new members a basic knowledge and understanding of the Christian story. It will enable members to become mentors. It will offer us all a time to come together in fellowship to study God's word. For those who wish to keep a journal during the study, a journal is available for $10.00. This is not a requirement! Otherwise the course is free. There will be bible reading assignments for each week. A list of these readings will be available prior to each week of study. This study is open to all ages. Transportation to and from will be available. If you are interested, please sign the class registry in the narthex.

First six week session will begin October 11, 2010 (Know Your Story) The study will cover Creation, Sin, Redemption, Holy Spirit, Church and New Creation.

Second six week session will begin January 10, 2011 (Confirm Your Faith) The study will cover Way Of Discipleship, Way Of Salvation, Wesleyan Quadrilateral, Worship, Sacraments and Living A Holy Life.

Third six week session will begin March 7, 2011 (Live Your Commitment) The study will cover Renounce Reject and Repent, Accept, Confess, I Believe, Prayers! Presence/ Gifts/ Service/ Witness, Going Forth.
